The company is limited by shares, under the Companies Ordinance, Chapter 212 of Companies Act of 2002 and 100% of shares is owned by Tanzanian and is domicile in Tanzania
Registration and Incorporation
REOS INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED was registered under the insurance Act No. 18 of 1996 after the liberalization of insurance business in 1996, and commenced its operation with effect from 4th February 2002 after the State Insurance Brokers Ltd the former subsidiary company of the National Insurance Corporation (T) Ltd ceased its business operation with effect from April 2000 of which Some of the SIB Ltd employees jointly under the leadership of Alfred Mac John established the firm.
Principal Activity
The Company is authorized to conduct Insurance Brokerage service by the Commissioner of Insurance under Insurance Act and its regulations of 1996 and new Act of 2009. The Company underwrites spectrum of General Insurance Business and Risk management consultation.
Corporate Membership
Reos is a corporate member of Tanzania Insurance Brokers Association (TIBA), Association of Tanzania Insurers (ATI) and registered member as a Professional Insurance Broker from Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA)
